I. Hokkaido

Hokuriku region (part of Chubu region) is a region on the island of Honshu in the area of the Sea of Japan and consists of four prefectures, namely Ishikawa, Fukui, Niigata, and Toyama.

VI. Kinki / Kansai

Kinki or Kansai region is an area in the west-central part of the island of Honshu and consists of six prefectures, namely Nara, Wakayama, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyōgo, and Shiga.
